Welcome to noted.do
noted.do is a place to keep a public journal. You write in Standard Notes, the way you already do, and the notes you choose to share become a blog with your name on it. Nothing else changes. Your writing stays in your account, encrypted, and the blog is only a copy of what you decided to publish.
We built it because Listed is closing on December 31, 2026, and a lot of people are about to lose a quiet place they liked. Listed got something right that most of the internet gets wrong: it never asked you to chase an audience. You wrote because you had something to say, and anyone who cared could read it. We wanted that to keep existing.
So noted.do works the way Listed did, and then a little more. The plugin lives in Standard Notes and publishes with one press. Your blog has an RSS feed and readers can follow by email, one post at a time or as a weekly digest. Custom CSS from Listed works here unchanged, because we kept the same class names on purpose. If you want, your blog is followable from Mastodon too.
Moving is the part we spent the most time on. Your Listed posts come across in one step from your account page, addresses and all. And Listed's last post was about how hard it is to take your subscribers with you when you leave a platform, which stuck with us, so here they are yours from the start: download the list from your account page any day you like. The same goes for your writing. Every post as a Markdown file, plus your pictures, whenever you ask.
There is no feed to perform for, no counts under your name, no algorithm deciding who sees what. Just the next thing you want to write, and a link you can give to anyone.
If you have a Listed blog, bring it over before the end of the year. If you've never kept a public journal, this is a good time to start one.
